seoClarity is the technology leader in Enterprise Search Engine Optimization (SEO) technology and services. Our technology platform and services help the world’s best and biggest brands optimize their website content so they can be found online and connect to their customers.

Position Overview: 

This position has a weekly hybrid schedule with at least 3X per week in the office (downtown Chicago or Arlington Heights). 

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Support:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of all hardware assets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining network hardware such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Assist in the process of commissioning and decommissioning hardware

System Administration:

• Monitor and maintain server environments, including regular updates and patch management.
• Assist in the administration of servers, access reviews and cloud-based services.
• Perform routine system checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through anti-virus installation, regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Perform license renewals for user accounts.

User Support:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to help users understand IT policies, systems and processes.

Network Administration:

• Assist in the management and monitoring of network performance and security.
• Support the implementation of network policies and procedures. '
• Identify and resolve network connectivity issues.

IT Projects:

• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, such as system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on project planning and execution.
• Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in network administration. 
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking principles.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
