SEOYON E HWA INTERIOR SYSTEMS ALABAMA LLC is Hiring a Quality Supervisor for Automotive Manufacturer in Selma AL Near Montgomery, AL

Job Summary:

Position is accountable for maintaining a productive, efficient, quality-oriented and safe work atmosphere during shift operation. Supervisor is expected to provide guidance, support, direction and leadership through positive interactions with all personnel during daily operations. Responsible for supervising the day-to-day production, scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training and auditing activities – to meet customer requirements including deadlines and quality standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for direct supervision of hourly team members.
  • Follow and implement all directives, policies, and procedures issued by Seoyon E Hwa.
  • Process the start-up tools
  • Collect and submit reports specific to team data as requested.
  • Relate all new or revised policies, procedures and /or processes to team members to ensure they have the most up‐to‐date and current information.
  • Deliver weekly team schedules to ensure appropriate coverage of work activities and that team members have time for breaks, lunches, etc.
  • Approve/disapprove individual team member’s leave requests to ensure proper coverage within a team in accordance with the Seoyon E Hwa procedures.
  • Identify practices that are and are not working and make recommendations to the Assistant Manager.
  • Assess the need for training and submit requests to the Assistant Manager
  • Serve as a resource and content expert to team members; providing them with guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify the work activities.
  • Create opportunities for team members to provide input on procedures/processes and share their expertise with other team members.
  • The Supervisor will have meetings team members to coordinate production schedules as needed.
  • Trouble-shoot any production/processing problems.
  • Supervise the safety of employees and operation of all equipment to prevent injury to personnel and/or damage to equipment and property.
  • Documents attendance/tardiness of employees to communicate this to Human Resources.
  • Complete production reports; Coordinate production with supporting departments; quality, materials and production control.
  • Conduct employee evaluations for Quality Control team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills, independent thinker, strong organizational and planning skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to lead people in obtaining a common goal while maintaining a positive atmosphere with the work group.
  • Must be able to work fluctuating shifts and overtime when required.
  • Good communication and administrative skills.
  • Direct supervision responsibility of 10-20 employees.


Education/Training/Experience:

  • Must possess a high school diploma/GED required. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Managing Production personnel at the team leader level or higher.
