Occupational Therapy Assistant- Outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program, culminating in a minimum of an Associate’s Degree.
• A Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state where services are rendered.
• Minimum of one (1) year as a treating therapist. Previous outpatient experience in the AL/IL settings preferred.
• Obtain NPI & PTAN number. Assistance provided in obtaining if not current upon hire.
• Enrollment in CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare, Inc.) Assistance provided in enrolling if not current upon hire.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS- Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
