Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Department: Outpatient Services (AOP)

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Purpose and Scope:

• Assist Clients health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
• May advise client on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs job duties with minimal supervision
• Provides healthcare, first aid and immunizations and assistance to client in psychiatric care and substance abuse outpatient setting.
• Administers prescribed medications and notes time and medication amount in client's clinical record
• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care plans.
• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and client records.
• Modifies client treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions.
• Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in clients' conditions.
• Observes nurses and visits clients to ensure that proper nursing care is provided.
• Prepares clients for assists with examinations and treatment.
• Prepares rooms, sterilizes instruments, equipment and supplies and ensures that stock of supplies is maintained.
• Provides education to client and family.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
