Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Growing family practice in the heart of San Jose is seeking an FNP who is interested in part-time to full-time position. We are open Monday to Friday and offer flexible schedule options that will fit your needs. Our practice is proud of the positive work environment, great teamwork, and amazing personalized care we provide to our patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and great time management. Native Spanish speaker or fluent in Spanish is preferred.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and medical imaging
- Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities
- Provide counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on delivering compassionate and evidence-based care
- Experience in critical care settings, managing complex medical conditions
- Competent in conducting thorough physical examinations and interpreting assessment findings
- Knowledgeable in medical imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and ability to navigate them effectively
- Knowledge of medical coding
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team
