Transmission Technician Needed
$5000 SIGN ON BONUS!!!!!
Pay $38-$50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Serra Chevrolet
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep shops operating to standard and to set a positive example for the supervisor team.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and inventory as needed.
• Must follow all Policies and Procedures set by General Motors
• Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required
• Inspect transmission and identify failure
• Complete accurate parts list
• Assemble transmission correctly
• Attend transmission training to keep up to date with new technology

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience working with automotive transmissions or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of automotive industry and parts
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate equally well with mechanics, customers and senior management
• Available to perform many different tasks within the shop during each shift.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued education
• Previous transmission repair experience required
• A valid state driver's license in order to drive customer or company vehicles
