Maintenance Technician
Location: McKinney, TX, 75069
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
