We have an opportunity for a mid-level Strategic Communications Consultant to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will provide support to members to our IT Program Management Office Team in order to provide strategic and tactical support to the client.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Support transforming, training, and streamlining financial business processes for a large IT program
- Work directly with client leadership to create, prepare, and implement operational project plans and training programs.
- Facilitate and present in executive leadership conferences
- Collaborate with external agencies to assist the customer organization with communications, change management, logistics, and system training support.
Desired Skills:
- BA/BS degree in the related field
- 2 to 3 years of federal government management consulting experience
- Ability to independently storyboard and review with team prior to deck creation
- Strong PowerPoint deck creation skills
- Strong verbal communication skills with ability to interact appropriately with GS-15/Executives
- Strong written communications- clear, concise and able to convey messages to diverse audiences
- Ability to facilitate meetings with executives and coordinate inter-agency conferences
- Ability to envision program planning and project implementation, and to employ them effectively
- Strong written and verbal communications skills to support business writing, professional correspondence, and meeting facilitation with diverse group of clients
- Able to work autonomously to assist and support client stakeholders
