ServeScape is looking for a Assistant Branch Manager to oversee maintenance of our nursery yard, and receiving of live plant material.
ServeScape is Georgia’s online landscape marketplace. We work with horticultural growers throughout the state to put their live plant inventory online, giving gardeners access to a wide variety of plant material that we will deliver directly to their door. ServeScape is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager to join our dynamic team, based in Atlanta, GA. The associate will play a key role in the fulfillment of orders for live plant material. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with a passion for plants, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. They will share a passion for ServeScape’s mission to provide the people of Georgia with access to locally grown plants, supplies, and the local trusted expertise they need to build a more beautiful and resilient landscape. We are rapidly growing, and have many growth opportunities within the company.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct and oversee receiving of in-bound product from various horticultural growers, and check for quality.
- Ensure all material is received in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and well organized holding yard, with accurate reflection in our order management system.
- Care for and maintain quality of live plant material on holding yard, to ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery. Maintain quality and inventory list of overflow material.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and excellence, and follow operational procedures. Maintain yard equipment.
Job Qualifications
- Horticultural expertise, with 3 -5 years of experience in the green industry.
- Retail Garden Center or Nursery experience required.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Georgia Driver's license and clear 3yr driving record.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
