HumanGood is Hiring a Regional Director of Sales - Senior Living Near Pleasanton, CA

Under occasional supervision, supports the sales programs and teams at multiple communities in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Will support and advise community directors of sales in their efforts to achieve occupancy, sales, and entrance fee goals across all levels of living. Helps develop and ensures the standard operating procedures of the company are followed at the community level. Accountable to meet defined financial objectives and resident satisfaction standards while supporting sales, coordinating training and administrative activity necessary to achieve the desired organizational goals.
  • Perform weekly one on one coaching sessions with community sales directors and additional sales team members as assigned or needed.
  • Model, direct and reinforce Baseline Selling Principles and philosophies.
  • Support Post-Acute Care Business Development as need and as assigned.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a sales strategic business plan and tactics that support occupancy and entrance fee goals in partnership with the executive director, director of sales, and marketing team.
  • Provides high performance leadership and support of the community sales teams that will drive annual sales and revenue goals while exceeding resident expectations.
  • Drive sales results through the retention and recruitment of skilled sales teams, implementation of sales strategies including incentives and management of sales teams' focus on sales goals.
  • Create an environment for sales teams that honors, respects and values their opinions and suggestions; promotes professional development and rewards achievements.
  • Partner with human resources and community leadership to establish and implement quality team member recruiting, selecting, and retention.
  • For each new sales team member, ensure that the HumanGood sales orientation check list and new team member sales activity standards are successfully completed
  • Ensure each assigned sales office operates in compliance with Salesforce standard operating procedures. Data collection and reporting to the home office and executive director are timely as necessary.
  • Establish, observe, measure and evaluate sales teams' performance to assure compliance and attainment of sales performance standards and objectives; conducts regular performance observations, assessments and discussions. Reports concerns and/or issues to the executive director and collaborates on performance improvement measures necessary for success.
  • Provide sales process and coordinates customized sales training techniques as appropriate for the sales team member's experience level and/or to address individual or team performance skills gaps.
  • Develop and manage effective vendor relationships to ensure communication messages that support and align to the achievement of annual sales and revenue goals
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for operational, Greenfield and Master Plan communities' sales efforts.
  • Supervise and interpret market and competitive analyses for supervised communities.
  • Monitor the image or position of each community in its market and in relation to its competitors; recommend public relations or marketing communication strategies as required to the marketing team.
  • Understand resident contracts and other legal documents and be able to answer inquiries from sales team members.
  • Review community collateral material to make recommendations on marketing efforts and strategies.
  • Produce regular reports for the home office outlining successes, challenges, personnel issues, financial performance and new business activity.
  • Conduct quarterly onsite visits to support communities to ensure the sales teams are supported, while holding the teams accountable for sales activity and results.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree required with course work in marketing, social sciences, or business. Master's degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role with experience as a director of sales, regional director, or senior leader in a sales organization with demonstrated success in exceeding goals and developing others using proven coaching philosophies
  • Valid driver's license
Pay Range - 115-125K depending on experience and geographical location performance based bonus
This position has a heavy travel schedule, 65% of the time. Candidates must be located in a state where HumanGood operates.
