About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician Trainee to join our team in the Construction industry. As an HVAC Maintenance Technician Trainee, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and customer service while learning the ins and outs of HVAC maintenance. You will work closely with our experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field. Your ultimate goal will be to provide top-notch service to our clients and ensure their satisfaction with our services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional sales and customer service to clients
• There is a SALES aspect to this role. 
• Present options to customers – finding the right products for their needs
• Maintenance, service, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with our quality and safety standards
• Meet Individual and team goals and metrics
• Attend training sessions and complete assigned coursework
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance and diagnosis of air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service and/or sales experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Conditions: 

• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof).
• Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time.
• Moderate exposure to physical risk.
• Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain

Skills:

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician Trainee, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional sales and customer service to our clients. You will also use your physical strength and ability to work in confined spaces to assist experienced technicians in performing HVAC maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and your ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the job is done efficiently and effectively.
