The Administrative Assistant will perform various administrative duties related to the successful operations of the departments in our Dunbar, WV office.
Position Functions:
- Serves as backup for administrative assistants when out of the office (payroll, office supplies, among others)
- Perform general office duties (copying, mailing, faxing)
- Create spreadsheets to track important customer information
- Review, reallocate, reconcile PCards charges
- Organize, verify and make any necessary changes to existing data in a spreadsheet
- Type in data quickly and efficiently
- Process, review, and prepare for approval time entry, and correct errors.
- Assist in special projects, as required
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Payroll experience, a plus but not required
- Data entry experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of SEC, working effectively in a diverse work environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, among others)
- Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
- Strong typing skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to perform with little supervision
- Meet deadlines with the ability to rapidly adapt to changes in assignments
- Organizational and prioritization skills

The position will work in the office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
