We are currently seeking Apartment Maintenance Technicians! You will be responsible for the following below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspects buildings and equipment to identify issues.
• Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from other departments or management and executes them in a timely manner.
• Keeps track of pending and finished work orders.
• Keeps facility operating, by executing the preventive maintenance program on every equipment and conducting requested repairs.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safety of maintenance tools shed.
• Timely identifies and requests maintenance supplies and parts to management.
• Cuts grass and trims weeds on organization''s property.
• Paints interior walls and trim.
• Maintains and repairs buildings'' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
• Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings.
• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must have competent skills using a variety of tools.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
