RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Physical Therapist to provides quality physical therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician
- Consistently meets with Physical Therapist to discuss patient information and evaluations to plan, modify or coordinate treatment.
- Assists patients with exercises and treatment plans
- Manages patient/client care.
- Monitors patient/client responses to treatment.
- Document treatment, response, and progress in the patient's medical record.
- Demonstrates well-defined organizational and time management skills.
- Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- Self-starter, highly motivated and ability to work independently
- Applies concepts of customer relations and support.
- Promotes positive relationships.
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate of Registration issued by the California State Board-new grads welcome!
- Valid CPR/AED certification
- 1-year experience working in an outpatient setting preferred
- Aquatic physical therapy experience a plus
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $22.00 - $70.00 per hour
