Objective: The Disaster Restoration Technician position is a multi-faceted, customer-focused role that assists customers during their disaster related emergencies. Disaster Restoration Technicians are expected to perform various duties including, but not limited to, assessing, cleaning, disposing, or demolition of customers’ property.

Primary Duties:

· Complete assigned job tasks, according to company processes and standards.

· Master of customer care skills.

· Comfortable with utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other various equipment.

· Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of industry ‘Best Practices’.

· Contributes to a positive team atmosphere.

· Performs demolition on losses by cutting, ripping, and removing affected areas including walls, flooring, ceilings, and other miscellaneous structures.

· Completes detailed cleaning on various types of losses, including fire, microbial, post construction, and other miscellaneous losses.

· Provides constructive, positive feedback to team members.

· Document and record daily vehicle inspections.

· Complete and upload all required documentation for losses, including photos and job-related notes.

· Communicates with customers, team members, and leadership in an effective, timely manner.

· Must maintain a valid driver’s license and report any driving infractions to the HR department on a timely basis.

· Consistently exceeds the company standards for hygiene and apparel guidelines.

· Capable of standing, walking, crouching, or climbing for 12 hours per day.

· Possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Adheres to all safety guidelines.

· Participates in the DR on-call rotation.

· Participate in the monthly swap-day training sessions.

· Ensures safe, neat, and organized work areas are being adhered to.

· Seeks out opportunities that promote personal growth.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
