Job Position Description:
This position is primarily a Mon-Fri position between the hours of 1:00pm-9:00pm with some flexibility required. The ServiceMaster Clean Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, implementation, and execution of our commercial/janitorial department. The ideal candidate would be responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customer, their staff and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities in a positive and constructive manner.
Other duties may be Assigned:
Overall duties include professionall overseeing, motivating, and working side by side with our janitorial staff in the Alexandria and surrounding areas.
Working with the President and Chief Operation Manager on flow of communication to staff and our business partners.
Assist in interviews of new hires.
Performing hands on training of new hires.
Performing follow-up staff visits, solidifying a strong relationship, and creating a unified work environment.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, including delivering supplies to our staff and our client building location.
Perform periodic onsite inspections and review with staff.
Maintain a good working relationship with customers via over the phone or in-person
Capability and willingness of performing production in accounts as needed
Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) sitting, standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Must have an eye for detail
• 1-2 years experience as a supervisor or manager is a plus but not required
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
