Position Overview
When disaster strikes somebody’s home or office, we are first on the scene.
You are part of the team that swoops in to save the day.
A technician stabilizes the chaos by performing water/fire mitigation and other types of organized demo and cleaning.
Inspect, assess, and complete restoration work and put the customer at ease.
Job Responsibilities
LEAD MITIGATION CREW BY EXAMPLE
Understand and execute mitigation scope of work
Help customers understand work flow and set expectations of quality and timeliness
Safely complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
Perform water damage repair to include water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, cleaning of salvageable materials, light construction, and demolition per the scope of work
Participate in our on-call rotation, responding to after-hours and weekend emergency losses
Perform daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with urgency
Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies
Job Requirements
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn; Experience in the restoration or construction industry not required
Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
Good verbal and written and communication skills
Good customer service skills
Comprehend and safely follow product label usage instructions
Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
