Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Entitlements Manager to oversee the Entitlements staffs in their day-to-day functions, pertaining to entitlements process in obtaining all entitlements consumers are entitled and maintaining eligibility.

JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Supervisor staff on a weekly basis
  • Maintain and update consumers entitlements charts
  • Review HRA Public Assistance and Social Security Administration application and supporting document
  • Monitor existing electronic health record (AWARDS & Precision Care) database daily verify daily census coincide with programs statistics
  • Review programs daily census
  • Monthly reconciliation of Congregate Care Level II service fees(rent), personal needs allowance and SNAP funds
  • Provide monthly financial report on consumers not in receipt of maximum allotment from city or government entities
  • Submit monthly report providing outstanding and unresolved issues
  • Inform appropriate staff and management of potential entitlements issues with consumer
  • Track monthly incoming pharmacy bills and provide Medicaid numbers for processing
  • Report all discharges to HRA and SSA timely
  • Submit consumers MPSS forms to HRA for employed consumers
  • Liaise with HRA, CAS, SSA and STARS management team
  • Provide appropriate guidance and administrative expertise to program staff
  • Complete SSA annual representative payee report
  • Review SSA, HRA and SNAP correspondence with staff daily
  • Monitor quantity of HRA application department receives to ensure staff schedule initial HRA appointment
  • Periodically review entitlements module in AWARDS to ensure all benefits are reflected and updated accordingly
  • Provide supervisor with all new consumers benefits income status in a timely manner
  • Ensure all applications (i.e. re-determination, SNAP, Medicaid, recertification, representative payee, continuing disability, HEAP and face-to-face etc.) are submitted to respect city and/or government entities in a timely manner
  • Manage staff in escorting consumers to various government and city agencies (i.e. Social Security Administration, HRA-Public Assistance, Medicaid and SNAP offices)
