SERVPRO of North Rensselaer/ South Washington counties and Bennington/Rutland Counties are excited to announce they are seeking a motivated individual with a positive and professional attitude to join their team. We are a family owned and operated company specializing in Cleaning, Restoration, and Reconstruction. The Position available is for a skilled carpenter to be part of our Reconstruction Department.

This is a long term, full time position with lots of room to grow.

• Qualifications of the Carpenter:

Finish Carpentry skills
Drywall and taping skills
Skilled in all areas of residential construction
Ability to read blue prints, layout and frame
Basic knowledge of electrical a plus
Basic knowledge of plumbing a plus
Ability to complete tasks while maintaining a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Perform Construction, finished and rough carpentry of residential and commercial properties
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
• Communicate with Construction project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
• Work with Water and Fire restoration as needed.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• At least 1-3 years of experience in carpentry work

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
