Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes at Servpro Team Luzzi Restoration Company. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations. The HR Manager will work closely with department heads to support the company's growth and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Address employee grievances and conduct investigations as needed.
    • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  3. Performance Management:
    • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems to ensure employees are meeting company goals and objectives.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance improvement plans.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure feedback is provided constructively.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
    • Maintain training records and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
  5. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Ensure competitive compensation practices by conducting market salary surveys and benchmarking.
    • Manage payroll processing in collaboration with the finance department.
  6. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbook as necessary.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  7. HR Administration:
    • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
    • Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
    • Manage HR budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software.
