POSITION
Student Worker - Student Support Specialist -Office of Academic Advising
JOB SUMMARY
Student Support Specialist assists in the Office of Academic Advising by providing
customer service via telephone, email, and in person assistance, as well as assisting in
back-end Jenzabar advising processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but is not limited to the following:
1. Maintain a positive image and positive relationship with others at all times.
2. Answer the main office telephone and assist with maintaining general office
email.
3. Assist Staff, Faculty, and Students with questions.
4. Assist the office in maintaining/updating student degree audits and advisor
assignments within the Jenzabar Advising Module.
5. Conduct data entry on student records.
6. File student information in the electronic filing system.
7. Other duties, as assigned by Directors and Senior Advisors
EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
•Customer Service Experience
•Jenzabar experience
