Job Title: Laboratory Tech

Job Overview:
We are seeking an entry level lab tech. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in learning LCMS sample prep and data review within a toxicology laboratory. Responsibilities:

• Operation of LCMS for toxicology confirmation testing
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance
• Perform sample prep and data review
• Perform instrument, maintenance, and troubleshooting as directed by supervisor and lab director
• Maintain QA/QC records and programs
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor and lab director
• Self-Motivated and ability to motivate others, self-starter, with ability work independently and effectively

Preferred Profile:

• 6 months of LCMS certifying and releasing experience in a high-complexity setting, or HPLC, GC user experience preferred
• BS, MS, PhD Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or closely related field.
• BS with 1 years’ experience or MS with 0 year experience in high-complexity LCMS setting lab preferred
• Molecular testing and blood testing experience preferred but not required
• Experience with method development and validation considered a plus.
• Experience with COLA/CLIA regulation is preferred
• Willing to learn new things
