Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards in all laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of LCMS for toxicology confirmation testing
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance
• Run daily testing and perform data review
• Supervise all testing performance, corrective actions, and process improvement
• Perform instrument, maintenance, and troubleshooting as directed by lab director
• Develop SOPs
• Maintain QA/QC records and programs
• Oversee laboratory personnel performance, training, and competence
• Self-Motivated and ability to motivate others, self-starter, with ability work independently and effectively without constant guidance and supervision

Preferred Profile:

• 6 months of LCMS certifying and releasing experience in a high-complexity setting, or HPLC, GC user experience preferred
• BS, MS, PhD Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or closely related field.
• BS with 3 years’ experience or MS with 2 years’ experience in high-complexity setting lab
• Molecular testing and blood testing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot instruments and routine lab equipment as needed to prevent errors and problems.
• Experience with method development and validation considered a plus.
• Prior supervisor experience is required.
• Experience with COLA/CLIA regulation is a must
