Seven Executive Limited is Hiring a General Manager Near Detroit, MI

General Manager | Restoration | PE-backed Field Services

Salary: up to $150,000 base 100% bonus potential and profit interest shares

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Relocation: Available (details negotiable)

About the Role:

We are working with an organization with over 8-9 years in operation, specializing in damage restoration services including water mitigation, asbestos removal, mold removal, and more.

They're committed to providing exceptional service and peace of mind to their customers. Currently generating $12 million in revenue, they aim to expand to $20-25 million with a minimum annual growth of 10% and are targeting a bottom-line growth of 18-24%.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a well-established company in the damage restoration industry, servicing commercial and residential properties.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve budgeted sales and required profits, incorporating input from department managers.
  • Ensure the overall HS&E culture and programs are in place, including necessary training, inspection, and enforcement systems.
  • Maintain office/warehouse facilities and company vehicle fleet to comply with company standards.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with department managers to ensure team continuity and goal alignment.
  • Perform regular performance reviews for direct reports, holding team members accountable to performance, behavior, and attendance standards.
  • Monitor and enhance employee morale
  • Collaborate with shared service departments to coordinate information with retail units.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree or 5 years of successful profit center leadership experience in the home services industry.
  • Familiarity with local business and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including coaching capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams through department managers, achieving budgeted sales and EBITDA monthly.
  • Ability to relocate if required.
