As a PICC Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized vascular access care to patients, ensuring safe and effective placement and management of PICC lines. This position requires expertise in vascular access procedures, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PICC line insertions using ultrasound guidance and other appropriate techniques.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine vascular access needs and suitability for PICC placement.
• Educate patients and caregivers on PICC line care, maintenance, and potential complications.
• Monitor and manage PICC line placements to ensure optimal function and prevent complications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans related to vascular access.
• Document procedures, assessments, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide support and education to nursing staff regarding PICC line insertion techniques and best practices.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during PICC line insertions and care.
