Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-time Seamstress/Tailor. In this role, you will be responsible for performing alterations and repairs on a wide range of garments, including wedding dresses, formal wear, and everyday clothing. Your duties will include taking measurements, making alterations, and ensuring that each garment meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fittings and take accurate measurements to determine required alterations.
• Sew, stitch, and tailor garments according to customer specifications and design requirements.
• Make adjustments to ensure proper fit, including hemming, resizing, and repairing seams.
• Inspect finished garments to ensure quality and accuracy of workmanship.
• Assist with customer fittings and provide expert advice on garment alterations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor, with strong sewing and garment construction skills.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in executing alterations and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
