Position Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for researching the current pump market to identify opportunities for growth and development. You will leverage your expertise to design and develop new commercial and industrial pump solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role requires a strategic mindset, technical proficiency, and a passion for innovation in fluid management technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities for new pump products.

Analyze customer feedback, industry reports, and market data to inform product development strategies.

Opportunity Assessment:

Evaluate market gaps and unmet needs to identify opportunities for new pump products.

Collaborate with our manufacturing team abroad to align product development strategies with market demand.

Contribute to cost estimation and budgeting for the pump development project.

Product Development:

Lead and manage the entire product development lifecycle for the new high HP pump range, from concept to production.

Help lead the design and development of new commercial and industrial pump solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards.

Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams to bring innovative products to market.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that new pump products comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Work with regulatory affairs teams to facilitate product approvals and certifications.

Pump Representative Recruitment

Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with pump representatives to include our high horsepower commercial and industrial pumps in their product offerings.

Lead efforts to ensure our pumps are listed in representative catalogs and included in bids for commercial and industrial projects.

Assist pump representatives in preparing bids and proposals, offering technical support and ensuring our products are competitively positioned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

10-12 years working for the industry

Proven experience in pump design, development, and market research within the commercial and industrial sectors.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and customer needs.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
