SFDC is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Wesley, FL

We are a Family Dental office located in Wesley Chapel, FL seeking RDA for T/W/TH. Must be proficient in temps, customer skills and be able to move at a fast pace. Open Dental is a plus, but not a necessity. Pay for the RDA position is based on experience, the right candidate would be a bubbly people person that enjoys working in dentistry and an overall team player. We prefer attitude over experience. We must also have salary expectations with resume for consideration. We look forward to hearing from you!

Below are the basics of this role:The Dental Assistant provides support to the office and is responsible for assisting the professional dental staff with treatment.Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.Guide parents and patients through our processes before treatment.Educate patients in oral hygiene instruction and provide postoperative instructions.Prepare patient for examination and treatment.Take digital x-rays with sensors.Responsible for the operational readiness of the hygiene bay and operatory rooms.Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures.Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Clean chairs and rooms.Assist professional dental staff with treatment:Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient’s chart.Take alginate impressions.Pour, trim and polish impression casts.Fabricate custom impression trays.Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards.Ready to do more than the basics and be super awesome?Have fun and make sure our patients are having fun too.Provide memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents. Look around and do more than you are asked to do by assisting with other office duties as needed. Integrity, always do the right thing!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

  • Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
  • Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
