About us

Established South Florida Landscape Company is seeking qualified, highly organized landscape maintenance professionals to join our growing team, which caters to commercial and government clients in the fields of landscape maintenance, design & installation, and arbor care.

Benefits

Hourly rate: Up to $21.00 per hour, contingent on experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Summary:

The Equipment Operator is responsible for working with heavy equipment in connection with landscape installation jobs. Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic and be willing to work in all weather conditions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Communicate and coordinate with the Enhancement Manager for accurate completion of installations.
  • Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best management practices of installation and company standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in operating heavy equipment.
  • 2 years of Landscape Installation Experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record. CDL Preferred.
  • Proficient in heavy equipment operating skills (backhoe and skid steer).
  • Attention to detail when working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Punctual and dependable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects of up to 55lbs.
  • Must be able to work in and around various landscaping settings including direct contact with various plant and landscaping materials and exposure to various dust and noise.

  • Competente en habilidades de operación de equipos pesados (retroexcavadora y minicargadora).
  • Atención al detalle cuando se trabaja en un entorno de ritmo rápido.
  • Buenas habilidades de gestión del tiempo.
  • Capacidad para priorizar y realizar múltiples tareas.
  • Puntual y confiable

Requerimientos físicos:

  • Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre en todas las condiciones climáticas.
  • Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante largos períodos y levantar objetos pesados de hasta 55 libras.
  • Debe poder trabajar en y alrededor de diversos entornos de paisajismo, incluido el contacto directo con diversas plantas y materiales de paisajismo y la exposición a diversos polvos y ruidos.
