Description
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Assist Sr. Director of Programs in the creation of a strategic plan to meet deadlines set forth by the grant.
• Oversee the day to day operations of the
• Work with internal and external partners to revise and update action plans.
• Coordinate with Sr. Director of Programs to prepare all necessary compliance documentation and reports.
• Work with the Sr. Director of Programs to develop/coordinate training curriculum to orient new students and staff to referral services
• Oversee the implementation of all training sessions for staff, ensure the delivery of training sessions and presentations.
• Provide community education seminars to clients and staff on violence prevention, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence and stalking.
• Design and get approval on marketing, promotional and communication plan.
• Monitor and follow timelines for activities as established by the grant
• Conduct comprehensive baseline and periodic assessments of the plan/program.
• Work with the Sr. Director of Programs to recruit internal and external candidates to participate on grant required advisory boards and task forces
• Arrange meetings with internal/external partners to coordinate grant activities
• Work with external partners to coordinate referral and follow-up services for victims.
• Ensure staff referrals, program/service enrollment for participants, and changes in participant status is documented in ETO/case files, within 48hours of occurrence.
• Facilitate and Execute violence prevention and life skills workshops, as needed.
• Attend all mandatory program trainings and meetings.
• Oversee and ensure staff reporting is accurately documented in ETO, weekly.
• Aide in the process of COA, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service or related field is required.
• Master’s Degree in Social Service or related field is preferred.
Experience:
• Extensive experience managing staff that work with high risk youth and gang members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and/or training in crisis intervention
• Residence within the target area preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes late evenings, weekends, and holidays
• No pending criminal cases and no prior convictions for sexual assault, child abuse or domestic violence
• Committed to working toward positive community change

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
• Must be able to frequently move inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
• At times may be required to lift up to 25 lbs. for various classrooms and event’s needs.
• Frequently moves in outdoor weather conditions.
