SGDesign, Inc. is a full service architectural and interior design firm focusing on commitment to client requirements in design and producing the project within client driven budgets and time frames. Our services include planning, design, construction documentation, bid coordination, construction observation and project management services. Established in 1993, SGD is a Texas C-Corporation and HUB Certified by the State of Texas. The leadership includes three principals: Tom Chapman, AIA, NCARB with Architectural and Interior Design experience since 1983, John Schlueter, with Design and Projec...t Management experience since 1984 and Deborah Bridge, IIDA, RID, RAS with Interior Design experience since 1987 and a dedicated staff in both Dallas and Houston. Each project is personally managed by the appropriate principal from inception to project completion. We develop a full team approach to incorporate the knowledge of our staff, engineering consultants, contractor and owner. Close communication and a team approach have established a loyal client base. Expansion of our client base has primarily been through referrals from clients, engineers, and contractors. Our project management philosophy is to dovetail with the clients needs to develop project budgets, expedite design/production times, permit expediting, coordinate with vendors, coordinate with furniture procurement, assist with value engineering, LEED certification, or any other client needs. Our projects have ranged from 1,000 square feet to 150,000 square feet and consist of banking facilities, corporate offices, hospitality, hotels, retail, restaurant, etc. SGD will serve as your point of contact to coordinate the entire design and construction team to bring the project in on time and in budget. We use a cost effective approach to fee structure to develop long term commitment with budget accountability.
