Department: PEOPLE SERVICES
Schedule: Full Time, , 8A-4:30P
Position SummaryThis position assists in providing support to SGMC Health employees at all levels. This role serves as a part of the Service Center within the People Services department and responds to issues and questions across all functional areas within People Services; benefits, compensation, employee relations, employee engagement, talent acquisition, etc.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, or combination of equivalent education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of prior experience in human resources required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to list up to 25 pounds at times.Regular walking/moving, stooping, bending, lifting, and pushing objects. Requires considerable mental effort and logical thought processing.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: PHR or SHRM-CP desirable
