Summary
The Systems Lab Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the lab SILs (System Integration Lab), which includes managing and maintaining the SIL hardware configuration consistent with the field configuration. The Senior Systems Lab Technician will work with the respective Test or Software Development Engineers to help identify and resolve hardware issues within the SILs. The Senior Systems Lab technician will also support all Hardware Engineering activities.
Troubleshoot and repair any SIL hardware as needed ? Document and provide status as needed
Maintain lab Hardware inventory electronics
Manage the repair of a spare pool of hardware for the SILs and tracking them in SAP
Must be able Interpret schematics or Cable Drawings and build to specification

Qualified candidates would have the following:
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience
Minimum 5 years working experience in building complex systems in the avionics industry
Understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics
Basic understanding of (Windows Excel, and Word)
Understanding of SAP, Inventory Control process, and the ordering of material processes.
Must have electronic technician capabilities such as electrical, and mechanical skills
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, ability to multitask and prioritize activities
Must be able to demonstrate a team player mindset
Logical approach to problem solving
Must be able to lift 25lbs on occasion
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of aircraft systems
Previous experience with avionics design, documentation and working with a development team preferred
Ability to Use SAP as required
