Summary
Sunday mornings from 8 AM to 11:30 AM and other times for preparation and ongoing training This Spititual Play Program runs from September through June of the following year for children aged 3-8.
Duties
Under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, the assistant teacher will engage the children while guiding and modeling skills of inquiry,exploration,curiousity, and expression of toughts and ideas (verbally, and through actions or art activities. (Detailed job description available upon request.)
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old and possess or be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Certificates or other documents related to working with young children ages 3-8 years of age and a passion for young children who are growing and blooming.
Nice To Haves
Experience working with children ages 3-8.
Ability to have fun with children and be willing to learn with them versus needing to directly teach.
Be a partner with the children in exploring and experiencing activities and becomig aware of the spiritual qualities in the fun things we do.
Flexibility as children's various interests emerge.
