Job Title: Temporary Accountant - Accounts Payable | GBI at Decatur, GA

Overview: We are hiring a Temporary Accountant for high-volume Accounts Payable processing at the office located at 3121 Panthersville Rd, Decatur, GA 30034.

Hiring Process:

1. Application and Interview: Candidates undergo an interview and may take a test in General Accounting and Excel.
2. Background Check: Successful candidates undergo a fingerprint background check. Review disqualifiers before agreeing to an interview.

3. Approval and Start Date: If approved by GBI management, candidates start within two weeks of fingerprinting.

Responsibilities:

High volume Accounts Payable processing.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies (GAAP, federal, and state guidelines).
Produce timely financial reports for GBI and CJCC under supervision.
Review purchase orders, invoices, and process payments in TeamWorks Financials.

Qualifications:

Dealbreaker: Accounting degree or business degree with accounting experience.
Preferred: Bachelors in accounting, 1 years of professional accounting, or Accounts

Payable experience. Familiarity with TeamWorks Financial or Oracle-based systems is a plus.

Office Details:

Location: 3121 Panthersville Rd, Decatur, GA 30034
Office Hours: 08:00 to 04:30
Pay Rate: $20-21/hr.
Education: Completion of an Associate degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
