Position : HR Representative (Administrative)

What You'll Do :

Recruitment Support :

• Post job openings, screen resumes, coordinate in-store job fairs, monitor applicant volume and conduct screening interviews.
• Prepare job offer letters, prepare onboarding packets and maintain recruitment records.
• Manage the applicant tracking system.

New Hire Onboarding :

• Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed.
• Follow up with new hires to ensure a smooth integration into our Shakey’s family.

Employment Terminations :

• Prepare termination documentation and coordinate final payment.
• Maintain termination documentation and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Leave of Absence :

• Administer leave of absence requests, track statuses and communicate policies to team members.
• Coordinate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate processing.

Recognition Programs :

• Support the development and administration of staff and team member recognition programs.
• Track team member achievements, coordinate recognition events and gather feedback for improvements.

Employee Events

Plan, organize and conduct staff events and celebrations.

HRIS (Paylocity) Transactions :

• Input and update team member data in our HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process pay changes, promotions and transfers.
• Generate HR reports and assist with troubleshooting and system improvements.

What You Bring :

• 1-3 years of experience as an HR generalist or similar role.
• Some college or vocational education preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Paylocity).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
