This position provides daily, in-person HR support to employees and managers. It reports to the HR manager.

• Primary contact for recruiting and hiring process with managers, applicants, and new employees.
• Build relationships with local trade schools and work career fairs.
• Recruit, pre-screen, interview, and make hiring recommendations to hiring managers.
• On-board new employees (using HRIS system).
• Prepare and submit bi-weekly and monthly payrolls (using HRIS system).
• Assist employees with timesheets and HRIS access.
• Provide managers with data available in HRIS system to meet their needs.

Qualifications:

B.A. degree preferred; consider Associates with 5 years HR experience.

· 2-3 years HR Experience, including recruiting and systems.

· Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel.

· Coachable

· DOT background helpful, but not required.
