Responsible for coordinating and controlling the distribution of minor bedside equipment. Responsible for instructing patient care personnel in the operation of specific equipment. Accountable for monitoring and reporting damaged equipment. Accuracy in daily data entry and assigned work is required. Accountable for proper entry of data in tracking system to assure proper billing for equipment use.
Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
College level study in healthcare or basic science is desired. High School diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience with medical equipment skills desired. Aptitude in electronics and/or mechanical skills desired. One year of work experience, including one or more of the following: inventory, stocking, materials handling, hospital and/or health related skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a computer. Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position.
