Overview :

Responsible for assuring all staff perform daily assigned duties. Assurance of all orders delivered on time and in appropriate carts / pallets, etc.

order receipts closed, trouble shoot department issues, train new employees, distribute daily back order report, complete departmental customer rounds and summarize daily activities to leaders.

Other responsibilities include maintaining adequate, non-expired product and supplies in clinical and non-clinical par-serviced areas.

Utilize Point of Use (POU) inventory system to accurately inventory, replenish and maintain supplies in all par-serviced areas.

Perform quality assurance audits on par locations to meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards at all times. Serves as an active team participant minimizing overstock outdates and stock outs by communicating with leadership.

Utilizes Supply Chain Services best practice processes established and communicated by department leadership to carry out job functions.

Serves as Customer Service Representative as needed. Assists in maintaining and distributing critical care equipment (crash cart, airway box, etc.

Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor to provide facility / system support.

Qualifications :

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements : :

High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office required. Two years of healthcare supply chain experience preferred or greater than three years of non-healthcare supply chain experience preferred.

Ability to understand and utilize inventory and distribution of materials management system, PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Experience working with a Point of Use (POU) system, OptiFlex experience preferred. Ability to independently lift 20 pounds, ambulate, reach, bend, sit, squat and stand.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Works flexible, rotating shifts as needed. On-call required. Previous leadership experience preferred.
