We are looking to add an organized and detailed-oriented individual to our accounting team as an Accounting Clerk. The successful candidate will have a crucial knowledge of the tasks of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, they will ensure accuracy and contribute to the overall efficiency of the process.
Primary responsibilities include:Accounts Receivable
- Generate Daily invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor receivables aging & contact customers for all outstanding receivables.
- Record all receipts accurately to maintain accurate records.
- Research and reconcile customer accounts to aid timely collections.
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy and obtain necessary approvals/documents.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors as approved.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Enter financial data into the accounting system with a high level of precision.
- Assist in the maintenance of organized and well-documented financial files.
- Additional clerk tasks may be assigned as needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with external customers and internal departments.
- Accounts Payable & Receivables 2 years’ experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Attention to Detail and accuracy required.
- A positive attitude and good team skills are critical.
- Excel skills should be proficient.
- An education in accounting or finance is a plus. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
