Overview:

We are family owned property management company seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounts payable and bookkeeping, and be proficient in QuickBooks desktop accounting software program.

Duties:

• Handles all accounts payable duties including receiving, processing, categorizing, and reconciling invoices for multiple entities and properties
• Ensure bank loans are paid on time and recorded in QuickBooks with breakdown between principle and interest
• Make sure credit card statements are paid, categorized to the correct chart of account and property, and reconciled
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Calculate tenants reimbursement of utilities

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven working experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Ability to perform account reconciliations efficiently

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
