Job Title: Senior Python Developer - Global Regulatory Reporting
Location: Jersey office (3 days per week on-site)
Duration: 12 months initial contract, with potential 6-month extensions

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cutting-edge applications for global regulatory reporting
• Collaborate on projects ensuring compliance with SEC, CFT Canada, and other relevant regulatory bodies
• Participate in rapid decision-making processes over WebEx
• Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams on various high-impact projects
• Demonstrate agility in adapting to different project assignments as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of core Python development experience (not just scripting or library usage)
• Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and driving projects to success
• Ability to work on-site in Jersey office 3 days per week
• Available for face-to-face interviews and immediate start
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills and team collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of financial regulatory frameworks
• Experience with global regulatory reporting systems
• Experience with Quartz
• Background in finance or investment banking
