Sheakley is recruiting 2 construction safety managers for our esteemed client, one of the nation's leading construction contracting firms, for a construction project in San Francisco, CA, and Oakland, CA.
Compensation Package:
$50/HR and $150/Day perdiem if over 50 miles from Green Bay, WI
$150/Month project completion bonus
Weekly pay
Staffing Type: 1099
Project Hours/Schedule: Night shift - 12 hours (6:30pm - 6:30am), Monday - Saturday
Project approx. Start: ASAP
Project Duration:
SF- 10 months
Oakland- 3 months
Scope of Work: Safety oversight of Heavy civil contractor - The project is for a taxiway realignment and rehab. This will include the relocation of fuel vaults and underground infrastructure.
**Contractor Certification Requirements**:
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
The role entails various tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession, all of which should be within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations. This includes conducting project safety inspections and orientations, safety training as requested/required, observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices, and completing document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.Qualifications/Education/ Experience:
For this role, we require a candidate with a strong background in construction health and safety training and consultation. Three to five years of related experience is a must, ensuring that the candidate is well-versed in the field and can handle the responsibilities effectively.
