Claims Assistant

What You Will Be Doing :
Perform general administrative duties for Claims personnel such as keyboarding, filing, record keeping, preparing reports, ordering and inventory of supplies, handling telephone duties, and serving as the office receptionist in a branch.
Perform any other related duties necessary to ensure the Branch or Unit is functioning efficiently. Also pay branch bills, update all rosters and emergency contacts, and assign claims.
Make payments on claims at the adjuster or management request. Make phone calls to collect data on claims from Medicare, loss payees, mortgagees, medical providers and requests for police or fire reports.
