About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP/GM for its Specialty Papers division. The successful candidate will be a proven, highly motivated senior executive with a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in commercial or P&L management, preferably within a medium to large B2B environment. The role is pivotal in leading the division's long-term direction, with a strong focus on safety, and requires the ability to quickly earn trust and confidence while demonstrating self-assuredness, professionalism, and a future-oriented perspective. Key responsibilities include building and developing top-performing teams, maximizing profitability, and leading the vision, strategy, and innovation of the division.Applicants must have a strong background in commercial leadership, and P&L management, and a deep understanding of operations, finance, marketing, sales, and employee relations. Experience in a commodity-driven, specialized industry is essential, as is a track record of strategic planning, team building, and market growth through innovation. The role demands a leader with exceptional integrity, ethics, and a "player/coach" leadership style, who can inspire and engage with a focus on safety and a community of accountability. The ideal candidate will have a background in the paper/tissue industry, and experience in managing a specialized business portfolio, as well as the ability to navigate the dynamics of a private or family-owned company and drive process transformation for improved profitability and revenue.
