Monitors are to supervise and secure facilities associated with sculpture classes during open studio hours and assist faculty when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Shepherd University FASTEnER Lab is the Campus Facility for Digital and Traditional Fabrication. Assistants are responsible for monitoring the Lab outside of Regularly Scheduled Class hours and ensuring safe use of the space by faculty and students. Workers need to arrive on time for every shift as security and access may depend on the employee. Employees having experience with tools and with traditional wood and metal tools as well as 3D printing and CNC equipment. Workers may be asked to assist other students or faculty with projects, but are not obligated to provide instruction, unless approved to do so.
