Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Orange County office.

Our litigators possess exceptional trial and appellate skills, in-depth knowledge of state and federal courts at all levels, and practical judgement. Our Litigation Practice involves all aspects of business and commercial litigation, including antitrust, creditors' rights, banking and financial institutions, construction, communications, general business, insurance, intellectual property, products liability, professional liability defense, real estate, environmental, securities, white collar criminal defense, and trust and estate litigation.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting partners across various aspects of class action defense and disability access discrimination claims, particularly under the Americans With Disabilities Act and California state accessibility standards. This position offers the unique opportunity for direct partner and client interaction, providing a platform for significant professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 3 to 4 years of litigation experience, encompassing all discovery stages, motion practices, and trial preparations.
• Prior experience with class action defense and disability access discrimination claims under both the Americans With Disabilities Act and California state accessibility standards is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Strong time management, excellent verbal communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Candidates must be admitted to the California State Bar.
