How You Care for Our Patients

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner under the direction of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, plans, assesses, implements, and evaluates nursing care to the unit’s child and adolescent patients. Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing. Performs psychiatric assessments, completes history & Physicals, conducts individual and family therapies, and manages medications. Assists with the clinical administration of patients by obtaining medication pre-authorizations, tracking lab data, and participating in the clinical database. Completes appropriate documentation in the electronic medical record.
