Our Adult Residential Treatment Center in Towson is looking for a Maryland Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW-C) who is motivated, dynamic, and a team player with a passion for supporting those with a range of mental health, substance use and developmental challenges.

Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a multidisciplinary team working in a 24/7 open door residential setting utilizing evidence-base practices to provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness, substance use or developmental disabilities to develop skills and abilities to live as independently as possible. RTC team members are trained in the areas of psychiatry, social work, nursing, dietician, substance abuse, vocational and educational rehabilitation, and occupational therapy.

Position Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess current Maryland LMSW or LCSW-C.
  • Candidate must possess Master's or better.
  • Must possess a current State issued Driver’s License and have a current driving record with 3 or fewer points on it.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide intensive therapeutic services to residents at the RTC.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy to RTC residents within the program.
  • Participate in development implementation of crisis intervention and management strategies for RTC residents.
  • Facilitate adjunct therapy for assigned resident caseload as needed.
  • Maintain clinical documentation of all consumer visits in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Participate in the coordination of the consumer admission & assessment processes.
  • Developing, writing, implementing, and revising consumer treatment plans
  • Transport and/or accompany clients to connect them to community resources and services.
  • Attend all RTC team meetings in order to facilitate an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach to services.
