- Handle employee-related issues and coach managers on how to implement performance evaluation and improvement plans
- Conduct training classes on the implementation and use of new software and systems
- Maintain records for leave of absence and workers compensation
- Create reports to track headcount, turnover, and variances
- Build presentations that include summaries of trends and patterns
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with leadership and employees
- Track payroll and adjust time sheets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in HR
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extreme efficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience creating reports and presentations, comfort with statistics, percentages, etc.
- Tech-savvy, experience learning and implementing new systems/software
- Ability to think strategically and work independently
- Must be a full-time employee (30 weekly hours/ 130 hours per month) to be eligible
- Medical plan offered is BCBSNC Blue Options PPO
- Premiums will be pre-taxed
- Sherpa pays a portion of the Employee only premium for medical
- 90 day waiting period from date of hire
- Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
